However, there are further indications that GTA 6 will be released either in 2021 or 2022. This is indicated by the YouTube channel The Know, which specializes in games and refers to the information of an insider.
Rumours are already circulating on the net that GTA 6 could appear for next-gen consoles such as PS5 orXbox 2. There has also been speculation about time exclusivity for PS5.
Netzwelt expects that Rockstar Games will announce GTA 6 or a GTA with another name until 2021, the release of a GTA 6 for PS5 and the new Xbox would be conceivable between 2020 and 2024. But it shouldn’t take any longer. A stuntman is said to have indicated that GTA 6 is already in development. But the hint turned out to be wrong.
GTA 6: Location probably not Tokyo
In GTA 5 you play in the world of Los Santos. Which venue GTA 6 could offer is unclear. Japan’s capital Tokyo was considered a hot candidate and the development team was currently taking photos of GTA 3 and GTA Vice City. According to the insider, you might also be allowed to play a woman as the main character in GTA 6. The decision has not yet been made, but it will probably be considered.
